Lots of threads out there on upgrades with issues, and some with no issues.  Hoping to get a sense of how many have successfully upgraded.   (Ignore #4, it is the same as #1)

P3A 1.2.7 thinks its flying more unstable now, have tried calibrate IMU, compas and gimbal

I upgraded and flew 1 time. Everything seems OK so far.
I don't have my VPS on. It's been off since I recieved my P3P.

whats really amazing is, DJI hasn't taking down the new upgrade. They've got to see all these post of problems.

P3A ... First FW update failed - my fault I think.

Second try after listening to 15 minutes of ear splitting beeps, successful.

Flight afterwards, uneventful.

Updated firmware on my Phantom 3 profesional , but my Dji Pilot app, says still 119 on firmware
When pushed about, When checked sd card it sayd sucess on top, but failure lower down, not
Sure what did go wrong.

Took the plunge and upgraded to 1.2.6 and also using the new Android Pilot app 1.2.0.   Upgrade went very smooth.  First short flight in the back yard (just hovering in a small space) was as good or better than 1.1.9 (both with VPS on).  Will try another short flight soon, to test changing the home position while in flight.  

Updated firmware advanced 1.2.7  Camera has jitters in video mode. Codec seems to be slowed down. Cars doing 55 appears to be doing 20mph during video playback.

i just updated to 1.2.6 just now and iphone keep showing disconnected no matter what i do and i am just hearing a buzzing sound on the phantom 3 itself.  this is toast...any help appreciated otherwise this will go back to amazon (i have prime and i have until june 29 to return it)

Upgraded P3P to 1.2.6 and had no issues (as far as I know). I noticed some video degradation, but not significant.

Won't be performing the update. Until the next few patches roll out, I'm not touching a thing. My time is more valuable than playing the upgrade game.

Took the same position with Windows XP when Microslop rolled out Vista. After purchasing a $5000 CAD system that required me to purchase an upgrade to run native Vista, wasn't going to happen

I have test boxes I'll play with different operating systems on. I've only got one Phantom, and don't want to brick it, so it stays with 1.1.8 .

i am chatting with them right now and see how this goes...
tried installing dji pilot on my wife's iphone 6+ and it connected just fine...iphone is on 8.3...
disconnected is on iphone6
uninstall dji pilot on my iphone6, download, install and it is now connecting.  i can still hear the buzzing sound which is not present before the upgrade to 1.2.6, that one i am sure as i listened to it before upgrading...do not know why.  

I am afraid to fly this thing now but probably will do tomorrow @ the park so it is safer that i can retrieve it if something go crazy while it is flying...

I'm amazed when I see people write about the loud beeping. I've done two firmware updates so far. In my living room, the ambient noise is just enough that I have to actually get close to the gimbal to hear the grunts my Phantom makes while it's updating.

Reminds me of my old (really old!) Apple II+ days. The only drives available in those days were floppy drives - held a whopping 138,000  bytes (thereabouts - don't remember the exact number). We used to punch holes on the other edge and make them "flippies." Those of us who thought we were hot stuff had a pair of disk drives. At that time they were about the size of a huge paperback book. And they *all* made a different noise! It just seemed like no two ever had "matching" sounds! LOL

After the failed attempt, it didn't make the usual di-di-di-di sound until after 10-15 mins of the loud BEEPs. The wife came downstairs to ask if a smoke alarm was malfunctioning.

As soon as I get time I will update for sure

Updated; PH3, controller, IMU, Gimbal, then compass.  Took it out today for a test.  Flew perfectly.  I did take it easy at first, but then drove it hard; full speed up & down, full speed spinning circles and high altitude.  Tested Course Lock (CL) for the first time - worked like expected.

I havent used Course Lock yet.  Wonder when we'll see Home Lock (HL) and Point of Interest (POI) show up.

Updated P3P and controller followed by an IMU Calibration, Gimbal calibration and compass calibration.  Took her out for a rip and everything seemed fine, took a couple of pics too and didn't see any of the image issues some people had been reporting.  Updating the P3P took about 15-20 minutes and the controller took 2-3 I'd say.

Those of you with a jacked up p3 professional firmware check this out, the ultimate flight v3 app requires special firmware and it could help.. I haven't installed it yet but I'm thinking about it cuz I haven't been able to fly since June 15th

Thanks.  I basically created the poll to help me decide if I should proceed with the P3P to 1.2.6 upgrade.  Hopefully it was helpful to others also.  I did the upgrade without issue, and have had several uneventful flights since then.  I am just as confident with 1.2.6 as I was with 1.1.9.   Also using the new Android app (1.2.0)
