Hello,
I am interested in knowing more about how does DJI geofencing work.

I know that the drone will not take off in the area surrounding for instance airports and so on. I am from Italy and I am wondering if there is any relation between DJI geofencing and the D-flights maps.

In oktehr words is geofecing in Italy based on the D-flight maps or is it based on ither maps?

Hello there Dan. Thank you for reaching out and for the inquiry. DJI’s GEO System delineates where it is safe to fly, where flight may raise concerns, and where flight is restricted. GEO zones that prohibit flight are implemented around locations such as airports, power plants, and prisons. They are also implemented temporarily around major stadium events, forest fires, or other emergency situations. Certain GEO zones don’t prohibit flight, but do trigger warnings that inform users of potential risks.
