Should I be getting a no-fly zone warning, and automatic landing when flying well outside of the no-fly zone in the picture shown below? The red box illustrates where I am flying when I get the warning. I kept getting no-fly zone warning, on  and off, and then eventually the drone started to come down on its own.
This has been frustrating, since I'm getting these warning all over the shorelines, which are the places I want to take photos and videos of! Anyone else experiencing the same?

You can find the answer to your question on the Phantom 3 Pro Flight Manual. Pages 40, 41 and 42 including some very detailed graphics.
Basically you cannot fly near airports, not only on the airport itself but neither on the proximitry since you may interfere with approaching traffic.
In most countries is forbidden to fly near any airport. Check your local regulations about this.
