I wanted to try my Samsung Galaxy Tab A (running android 9) on my brand new mavic air 2 that I already successfully tested with my phone, an Huawei Mate 10 pro (running android 9 too).

But I discovered that on the galaxy tab I can't find the DJI Fly app in the google play store. If I go on this page ( https://www.dji.com/fr/dji-fly#download ) I can grab the APK, allow untrusted installation, and launch the setup. But it fails miserably after a few seconds : "Application not installed"

What did I miss ?

Hello there cho7. I am sorry to read and to know that you are having issues in downloading the DJI Fly application on your Samsung Galaxy Tab A. Upon checking Samsung Galaxy Tab A. This mobile device is not listed as a recommended mobile device for the DJI Mavic Air 2 and with the DJI Fly application. The said mobile device may work however we can't guarantee the stability of the said unit since it is not yet tested by DJI. For additional reference I will be posting a link ( https://www.dji.com/dji-fly#download ) where in you can check the list of the compatible devices for the DJI Mavic Air 2  and for the DJI Fly application. Not true. The Tab A is compatible with the Mini, but not the Mini 2 because of the higher data rate.
