I shot this footage with the Mini on March 15th - the day we began locking down. The Wood Island Life Saving Station is one of my favorite landmarks in the area, and it's one of my favorite places to fly. Built in 1907, the station was in active use by the US Coast Guard until 1947 when it was abandoned. It sat, alone and neglected for almost 60 years before residents in the town of Kittery. Maine, decided to restore the building and convert it into a museum.
I was amazed at how easily the Mini handled this flight. I remain amazed at what an incredible piece of technology the Mini is.

Nice Wondering if they power the lighthouse with the small balcony solar panel. Must be very efficient if so.
Yes, that light is powered by the solar panel. Most of them are now, from what I understand. When I made my first light house flight I was expecting to see a giant Fresnel lens, but the light units I've seen are about the size of a large coffee can. It's amazing.
