Hello,
I have made a 3 x 3 panorama with MA2.
The resulting RAW files are not complete horizontal.
The left an right vertical line of 3 pictures are not horizontal.
This was in the MA1 not so.
Is this a feature or a bug?
Has anyone the same problem?

Hi,

are there other's with the same problem?
Is this a general problem with the MA2?
Is this a BUG?
Is this a feature?
Any reply would be very helpful.
Did anyone from DJI read this post?

Thank you.

Hi,
I have tested yesterday.
The problem in wide angle panorama occurs when the gimbal is not horizontal at the beginning of the shot.
The more the gimbal looks down the more the single panorama pictures are not horizontal.
Bug or Feature?
I don't know, ...

I have to try that.  It does seem like a bug, that would be a weird feature? I hope someone from DJI answers to this

Hi. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused. With regards to this concern, are you experiencing the same issue on normal videos and photos? Kindly please refresh the firmware using the DJI Assistant 2 and calibrate the IMU and gimbal to isolate the issue. Please keep us posted for further assistance. Thank you.

Why should I update the firmware?
Did you have made changes accoding to the described problem?
If not, you can easily test the problem in a very easy kind, ...
If yes, did you have fixed the problem and did you have an change log or bug fix history?

Thx

They did not ask you to update,  they asked you to REFRESH the same firmware.

This is because there are lots of reasons software may not work properly.  A refresh can and usually fixes an issue.   Other times it does not help, and by doing the refresh you have eliminated one problem to test for.

After the answer to the refresh there is a path to follow......do what they ask and you might solve the issue.  If not start a support ticket and send it in,   always your choice.

Hi,

> A refresh can and usually fixes an issue
that's the point!
I have several other MA2 user's which have the same issue.
So when it's a feature from DJI all its okay.
When it's not a feature, then I will help to fix the bug.
DJI should be aware of the features of their products and should be able
to classifiy that "problem" as feature or bug.
To do this, it is not necessary to take their user's the standard way of supporting software problems.
That's the point for me.
Not more, not less.

Hi. Thank you for the additional query. I am sorry for the confusion. The next step that we need to try to is to refresh or reinstall the firmware to correct any software base issue on the said drone. Again, I am sorry for the trouble.

Hi, same issue here,

when the gimbal initially looks downward a few degrees the border images are not horizontal. The auto stitched pano from DJI is ok, but the single images are crooked. This makes the postproduction in Lightroom difficult or even impossible.
This issue occurs only at the 3x3 Panos. The 180 degree and the spherical pano border images look fine.
And I've updated the firmware directly before the flight I noticed this issue.

I dont think, that the drone or the gimbal is the problem, I think this is a bug or even a weird feature of the firmware.  And a check by DJI is very simple...

By the way, on my Mavic 2 Pro the 3x3 Pano single images are ok.

regards
Steffen

Hi,
I have refresh/updated firmware with DJI assistent 2.
The problem/feature is still here.
For DJI it should be no great work to reproduce this issue, ...
If you have more questions feel free, ...

Thx
