Just got a update badge from App Store and installed. Haven't flown with it yet.

Yep...I installed it...it has Target Scanning now.  Don't forget to reselect phone charging if you want it.  My Auto exposure EV needed to be reset, too.  

Just updated! Got a couple of batteries charging on the hub now

What is target scanning?

When enabled the sensor will highlight subjects in the field of view so you just tap the icon on the screen over the subject you want and carry on with the quick shot, focus track or normal vid/still. Very handy to get a more precise lock on the subject without having to drag green boxes and if there are multiple subjects/people in the frame - it also makes gesture activation easier. However, it only works when taking 12mp single stills and if recording video in normal or HDR. It wont work with SmartPhoto, 48mp stills, panos, slow mo etc.

I tried it yesterday - certainly makes locking on easier but you are quite restricted as to what shooting mode you can use. TBH it will only come in handy if there are multiple subjects to chose from in the image like a group of friends and picking one out for the drone to centre on otherwise, it's a gimmick.

Hello there. Thank you for reaching out. The iOS DJI Fly V1.1.5 has been released on June 24, 2020. Here is what’s new to the said update :

- Adds Target Scanning toggle in Control settings. When enabled, aircraft will automatically scan and display targets in the Camera View (only compatible with DJI Mavic Air 2).
- Free Hyperlapse mode now supports the Spotlight function. After users drag a box to select a target, the target automatically stays centered in the shot (only compatible with DJI Mavic Air 2).
- Fixes crashing issues and improves app stability.
