I've played around with night shots a lot leading up to flying on the 4th, tried a lot of manual settings and auto settings experiments.  I ended up shooting mostly in auto between HDR mode 30fps and normal shooting mode on 60fps.  I think the best shots came out of auto normal mode 60fps haha... I was too excited dodging rockets to be able to focus on manual settings haha... Next year.

I took mine out to try and get some night shots of the fireworks, but forgot my card.. was so depressed.    you are a lot braver than me, I would never have flown that close.
