Just updated my Mavic 2 Pro with Firmware version 01.00.0670 and Gimbal started to go heywire after a couple of minutes of flight recording in 4K 30p.  The gimbal started to move side to side and shake and then came up with Gimbal overload error message on DJI GO 4 app.  Looking at the footage after the flight it was clear the gimbal was moving side to side rendering the footage useless.  the Gimbal also was tilted slightly to the left even before starting to move side to side.  I downgraded the firmware back to the previous version (v01.00.0510) and the problem is fixed.    I dont think the latest version of the Firmware is stable and needs attention.

I experienced something similar when testing with ZOOM, during flight one from 3 flights I got gimbal like it shut off - shake only to one side recentered but not entirely as from that moment it was pointing little bit to the left, I have done calibration via dji go before first flight. Didn't get any error.

With downgraded firmware no problem.  Reapplied upgraded firmware and gimbal overload error returned. This version has a problem!

Did you do a Go4 gimbal auto calibration after updating to newest firmware?
Might want to try that if you didn't.

I also think that the new firmware version has bugs! drone on the ground, my gimbal yaws slightly to the left, is no longer correctly on the axis!
IMU, compass and gimbal calibration are Ok!

How did you downgrade the software back using a smart controller? It looks like I'm having the same problem

DJI Assistant 2.  you need to install on your computer and then connect your drone with a usb C cable

This is what I found as well.  It is very apparent looking at horizon if you are near the sea.

my problem is the yaw not the horizon, now I'm trying to downgrade firmware ..

After upgrade to 01.00.0670 I got IMU error, compas error and some other messages, that never happened before to my drone, purchased 7 months ago.
Tried to calibrate both to no avail. Decided to downgrade to previous v01.00.0510 version, but during the flashing at 60-70% the drone became unresponsive, fans stopped to work, and connection to PC lost.
After restart I got a lot of error messages (see attachment), fans never start any more, all periferal sensors do not work and processor is overheated quickly.
Now I cannot flash firmware, process always stops after 60 %.
Sent support ticket to DJI yesterday, no reply yet.

I sent drone for repair under the warranty. Luckily I bought it from Amazon and they responded immediately.

The same problem with 0670. After downgrading to 0510 problem is gone.
DJI why don't you remove the bad firmware?

With 0510 the same problem now.(

Upgraded to V01.00.0670 to my Mavic 2 Zoom with DJI assistant 2 for Mavic.  I'll do a compair with my PRO.
