I am no expert on this first of all. But the specs I have found indicate this is a quad-core CPU and you probably need an octo-core for the MA2. Also, it doesn't seem to have a magnetic sensor (compass). Perhaps there are some more knowledgeable members here who can answer for sure. I would not take a chance on it.
Thanks for the info. I ordered one, but canceled the order after getting more information on the tablet's performance. Based on your experience I was right to cancel.

You're welcome! After the Lenovo didn't work out, I tried the "Dragon Touch Max10 Tablet" and it will not show the video transmission from the drone at all. Black screen. Trying to find a tablet that works without spending over $300 (and still not knowing if it will work) is proving to be a frustrating endeavor. Good luck and let me if you find a tablet that works! :-)
We are in the same boat, that is looking for a good performing tablet at $300 or less. If the price is higher then I might just go with the current smart controller when DJI gets it to work with the MA2, or wait for a new version of the controller. Anyway I will post a message if I find a good tablet.
On Tuesday I purchased a ASUS ZenPad Z8S P00J 16GB Wi-Fi + 4G for $120 on eBay with delivery on Thursday (very fast) and a 30 day return policy. I am anxious to try it. Thanks again for the adivise.
Can you let the forum know if the Lenovo M8 has a compass. Some flyers don't care, others like me use the orientation display which requires the mobile device to have a compass. Thank you
I received and setup the asus zenpad z8s p00j and it works perfectly. The orientation display works correctly since the tablet has both gps and a compass. I like that tablet's firmware loaded normally from play store and did not require a side load. The image looks clear and smooth. The only problem is that the image is not super bright and on a sunny day the image is dim. Maybe a sunshade will help.
