It would be a nice feature if you could put a pin on them at a user entered latitude and longitude.  That would almost be as good as a way point.  Then I as the piolet could at fly to the pin.   I often use the Mavic Mini to explore areas identified by LIDAR data.  Being able to mark a search location on the map would make it much easier to fly to the location.

The Mini has been added to the latest version of DJI's SDK, which is due out around the end of July.   Hopefully this will mean that custom apps will be able to create things like 'waypoints' etc for the mini to follow. - Fingers crossed.

If it isn't delayed yet again, as I expected the SDK to be already out by now.
