Let me begin by saying that the drone was flying outside National Park area, so no violation of no fly zone rules.
Having said that, it's a one of the panos I took this evening. I'm camping, so no way to process RAW files and create a high resolution composite, so please excuse a relatively low quality of out of drone JPEG.

The area is around the Grandview point.
Mavic 2 Pro.

No, you cannot. The park is a no fly zone regardless of home point.
And it’s not a campground, just a National Forest along FR 302.

I thought the Grand Canyon was strictly controlled to stop drones,  I guess you were far enough away to not come up against the drone police.

Ah gotcha. On YouTube there are videos showing how aggressively they go after drone use there.  Like they are going to damage the place.
