It's a nice place, Monty. To carry river traffic through the town and past the castle, several hundred metres of the river have been canalised. The river tumbles over a weir and rejoins after a lock gates just before the castle.

It was the morning of the Newark half-marathon, so I had to do the flight at the crack'o'dawn. That's why the low sun flares in the lens on one sequence.
