I want to set up my Osmo Pocket on a tripod, walk about 50 feet away and have it lock in on me and then follow me as I run by it.  Is there any way to do this by myself?  I do not have anyone to help me so I have to do everything myself.

You can set it to follow you while you stand right in front of it, start recording, then do the run-past.  Edit out the first bit later.  However, the big issue will be whether it will keep track of you over the distance you have in mind.  If it doesn't, maybe try a different location with a different background which will make it easier for the camera to keep track of you.
