48 fps works and I can play back the files on my osmo action and on my android mimo.  When I transfer the file to my PC I only get a black screen with audio.  I have tried running the 48 fps file on windows media player,  Movie Maker and Davinci Resolve.  Always no video but does have the audio.  I have tried loading the file from Osmo action directly to the applications and tried copying the file to a local directory and running the applications.  Always the same result.  30 FPS works okay on all applications.  It is as if the file format cannot be read properly by these applications.

I have a lot of content that I do not want to lose.

What resolution are you recording in? 4K or what? I will try to replicate the issue as well

Have you tried play with VLC.

I tried it today, no problem.
4K 48fps, and can play with VLC and import and edit in Davinci Resolve Studio with no problem.
Windows 10.
