After 3 months I decided to send up my old Trusty DJI Spark today.  I Will need to launch my newer Mavic Air 2 as well soon.   I hope you enjoy today's flight from my back yard

I know what you mean - when I did my maiden flight with my MA2 back in May it was the first time I flew a drone in 7 months! Doesn't take long to pick things back up - it's like riding a bike

Might be a while for us here in Melbourne though.   We have been in a Covid lock down for 1-2 mths now and we can't travel more than 5kms from home.   My Mavic Air 2 had 12 flights in the first couple of weeks and since has sat in the box.   Hopefully we can all get out sooner than later.  Stay Safe

I really want to Travel to Europe but International Travel from AUS is 2020 has been banned.  Maybe in 2021

I even think we might have to re consider our urge to travel.
This whole covid period got me thinking about the effect we have on many things with our excessive lifestyle.
If you ask me, we could do with a lot less consumption and unfortunately flying is not really a 'earth friendly' way of travelling.
The air above us got so much cleaner without all these planes flying around, it really shocked me when I realized how crazy this was.
Even the rivers on many places were much cleaner because the factories closed (and stopped dumping waste in the rivers)
People in India could see the Himalaya for the first time in their life because of the reduction of air pollution.

Now I can't change it all myself, but I think it is time to consider what I can do to make my footprint less and less.

You are right.  Maybe a good idea to sit back and wait for this virus to settle down before we all start travelling again.   For us here in Melbourne we have been in lockdown for around 3 months and other restrictions for several months on top of that.    I guess all we can do it just wait this out and stay safe.     Less travel means less pollution for the planet.  So at least we have something good to come from all this.

I have a few friends with drones in other parts of Australia that are not in a Lockdown.  They have hardly any planes to worry about so they can fly everywhere now.

That is one of the few benefits.

Plus we get to spend more time with the fam working from home!
