Hi DMD. Thanks. Any "Agglomeration" in France, which means anything from a hamlet of a few houses, to a city, is a No-Fly zone. However, with the permission of a property owner, one can fly within the boundaries of his property. Standard rules apply, such as avoiding invasion of privacy to the neighbours. But it is a useful loophole to get shots such as this. You just need to find a friendly property owner willing to allow flights, everywhere you go
Sad to hear. It really makes your pilot life more difficult. Hopefully Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania have the rule - don't fly over crowds or over 50 meter above people or property. |
