I've only recently gotten into FPV and I'm curious to hear from you as to your preferred 'Aspect Ratio' within the DJI FPV Goggles.  I'm speaking of the settings you'll find in the goggles under SETTINGS, then CAMERA, and from here you'll find the Aspect Ratio option of 4:3 or 16:9.

I'm already leaning toward the 4:3 ratio myself.

P.S.  The poll wouldn't let me select just two (2) options so please ignore the duplicate 4:3 option in the poll below.

Which Aspect Ratio Do You Prefer?

My appology...only wanted to post two (2) options 4:3 or 16:9.  Couldn't find an option in this forum to delete the 3rd option in the poll.

I personally use 4:3 feels good to see more on top and bottom when flying. I edit it in post later for 16:9 if I wanted to post video elsewhere. This gives you some room for superview like video.

I use 4:3 only because 16:9 chops the top and bottom off and stetches the image, which reduces visibility and makes it harder to use for take off/landing and when flying close to the ground.
What i would really like is if DJI added a third option for a Superview like non-linear stretch which would provide a 16:9 image that fills the display in the goggles without chopping the top and bottom off the image. Would also be good to be able to record in this mode too ;-)

My thoughts exactly this far.  Appreciate the feedback.

FYI:  I also asked Mr Steele (FPV YouTuber) and he's saying he uses 4:3 all the time as well.

4:3 is better for quads as you need the extra vertical field of view.  Why?  Because quads go "nose down" when you accelerate and "nose up" when they slow down.

Sure thing....I also put together this tutorial video on the subject as well.  Thought it might help a few out.

4:3 works way better for me as drone pilot more natural, more immerse
16:9 is nice for cineshots to publish on YT, that's why You do mount 2nd proper camera on drones one for You, one for audience later

4:3 most of the time especially for racing and proximity. Occasionally use 16:9 for more scenic/ cinematic freestyle flying.
