That sure looks cold, the closest I've seen to that here in South Africa, is the top layer of water in a fire bucket frozen in Bethlehem in the Free State province at the peak of our winter.

Yeah, it was that freezing cold Saturday morning, I really needed to drain my batteries, it was really windy so didnt want to send it too far away, so ended up doing these shots....worked out better than I thot they would at the time...

Hadnt flown for a couple of weeks...like to drain them and then top them uo...guess in my head it keeps the batteries longer...sitting on the shelf the gad self depleted to 50 something percent...
