When are we going to see the next major mini update? can't wait

What are you hoping for in the next one?

I'm not sure there's much more they can or will do...  Don't hold your breath too long....

there won´t be none...mini is at the end of firmware support life. even more true so if the rumors for the mini 2 are true. they update only the air 2, and there is no new functionality dji will provide for the mini. we´ll be lucky if they even fix the restarting of the phone issue of the app...

I would imagine only bug fixes now or support for accessories.

Usually is too early for a Mini 2, DJI has changed models around 2 years and not a year has passed since the Mini was launched. However, the evolution of the market may change if DJI needs a Mini 2 to continue to sell the Mini over the competition.
Being said that, DJI can improve sales of the Mini for the holidays bringing small upgrades that are already in third party apps, like AEB and Panorama, and a few more quickshots.

What im hoping for: RAW, More quickshots like asteroid, spotlight mode, presition landing(i dont know if its possible, tap-fly, waypoints, POI, make high wind warnings a titch less sensitive.

DJI . If their smart they will understand we are their best sales people. The more we have to brag about the better their sales are. We are the ones that deal with prospective buyers. So it’s better and cheaper for the to add the goodies to the app for us to brag about. A simple more compatible fix makes them millions. Larger Height , District and data on the screen with a darker background behind those numbers would be greatly appreciated. And the amount of satellite number is so tiny I have a very hard time even seeing the number. Sometimes I have to tilt the gimbal  down to a dark area so I can read it. I shouldn’t have to do that. Wasting time trying to read the screen and battery time is just wrong.

I know it won’t but I wish this info would actually get to DJI and their designers.

Pure speculation but based on this thread :Index for DJI Developer Forum I would like to think we will see Panorama and AEB support added for the mini soon. Both of these have been requested in the past and with DJI always saying that using 3rd party apps is against their TOS it would only make sense to include support for these in the DJI Fly APP.

I have never ran 3rd party app and not planning on doing so ever.  Hopefully DJI will come up with something to make the Mini worth keeping.

Opera Mini gets major update and fully revamped.
