I think if they are making an fpv quad it's probably for commercial racing market like DRL and those quads tend to be big and heavy, all speculation until we see some concrete info from dji

Mostly likely impossible for DRL to use any thing like this.

unless they have multiple receivers that can be fead into a central and then to googles, O wait yeah the DJI googles doesn't have HDMI in....
and then the other problems what receiver will aske for retransmit off a key frame ? no this will not work.

If DJI make a fpv quad it will most likely be something that everyone can fly. And not a racing quad.

Dji already have a system they use for commercial racing to get the video feed

I know but it is one to one link. not remotely close to what DRL will need.
also the googels is still the receiver so that box is only to get HDMI out.

they have a system they have used in some competitions, its not publicly available, im not talking about the commercial system we all use. I used DRL as an example of heavy quads, i wasn't saying DRL will be using DJI if you reread my post.
Another thing that makes me doubt the FPV Quad will be for commercial use is it doesnt look like it is easily fixable unlike the quads we fly, looks like a sealed system much like the other DJI quads, and FPV goes hand in hand with lots of heavy crashing, how does this work with a quad that is a closed system that isnt easily repaired by the home user?
