The MA2 has a X2 digital zoom which doesn't lose any detail but as you've seen on the video clip it unexpectedly appeared from nowhere and was gone in literally 4 seconds. I didn't even notice it coming into the frame while flying until I played back the video when I got home.

Yeah, not enough time to react. Even so I reckon the bird was pretty obliging, posing for the camera like that
