Apologies to Kansas.



Spindown 2020 started out nice, until the blasting 45 mph wind! We'd get a break for 20 minutes of so, then HERE IT CAME AGAIN.

Nobody wanted to go out very far.

Perhaps the host forgot to tip the weatherman?

We did not want to be far out when it struck.

Once that guy flew his Mavic in one, other Mavic fliers were a little bolder.

Yes, that was a surprise the first time it hit. The locals were even more surprised 'cause they don't have weather like that.

Some of the FPV fliers went off for a while to find a cool canyon. I don't know of any crashes there either.

I did not fly in the REALLY high wind. Just the moderate wind. I just watched and kept my tripod from blowing away.
