Well, this is it for sure, DJI released an update to DJI Fly earlier today and states "DJI Mini 2 support". Also includes:

• new QuickTransfer mode
• Enhanced Photo function
• Trimmed Download function
  

but states these are compatible with Mini 2, I assume 1 too but maybe not.


iOS 14 is now required.

I did the update on my iPhone and tried to download a video from MM to my phone, but couldn't find this option for QuickTransfer. I think it is only for the M2, not to MM.

IOS 14 is not required, just supported. Requires iOS 11 or later.
