Hello togehter,

here another video from us about the new DJI MINI 2.

This time, we check the compatibility of the batteries of the DJI Mavic MINI (V1) vs. DJI MINI 2

Furthermore we do a flighttime test and comparison with both different batteries.

Video shows that MAVIC MINI batteries can be uses in MINI 2 as well as in the MINI 2 charging station.
This might be very interesting for pilots already owning a Mavic MINI 1!

way too long vid, old battery is Li-ion 2S; new one is LiPo 2S (HV- hi voltage to be exact 4,35-4,4V/cell)
DJI had to reduce battery weight, as new internals (+occusync+cooling+motors) IMO are heavier compared to M1
on same time they need to feed more power to system, both for motor performance and compute power (4K)

lipo are way better with higher discharge rates, but price You pay = shorter lifespawn of cells, also BMS need to work stronger - low voltage can kill them pretty quick, can also swell/puff when badly managed
so expect really short/small amount of cycles and if You will go hardcore flights this drone (mostly sport more, discharge to really low voltages 0-10%) - even faster degradation of battery
