The uninstall of current app version and install the apk we want sounds easy, but how about the \DJI\dji.go.v5 folder and the subfolders under it on the device (android)?
Are there files or folders we have to delete? Which are the correct steps?

I have uninstall 1.2.0 and install 1.1.10 2 times without to delete any folder on the device. It didn't solve any issues.

unfortunately everything must be deleted but you can make a copy of the file in case. then you empty the application cache after deleting all the data uninstall the application deletes the DJI folder and you can install the version you have chosen up to version 1.1.10 maximum

before, do not forget to synchronize your flight data if you want to find them in the version you are going to install

Could you please be more detailed on "...then you empty the application cache after deleting all the data uninstall the application deletes the DJI folder..." ?
How many steps is this? Maybe you could use "," between steps. It could help me much more.

1 / application settings on the phone
2 / manage applications
3 / dji fly / storage / clear cache / erase all data / uninstall
4 / Make a copy of the DJI file (if necessary) then delete it
5 / install the new version

I always have to update the app via the apk on my Tab A because it is not approved. I have always uninstalled the current app and installed the new one from the apk file. I have never deleted anything else and have never lost any data or suffered any problems. That included one downgrade a few months ago.
