I read a lot about this issue on the forum and still not solutions found by DJI... PLEASE DON'T FORGET YOUR P4P-RTK USERS !!!!
I Spent a whole day trying to fix it but I'm currently giving up
I would like to use Terrain awareness tools but it's currently impossible because of the IMPORT DSM don't want to work ...
My controller doesn't recognize my DSM data on my microSD card which I Show on the screenshot below.

My controller has the latest firmware v02.02.0505

I created my DSM through Global Mapper with all good settings (SRTM data in WGS84 with Geographical Coordinates)
I exported .tif and .tfw (32bit floating point samples)
I put both files subfolder in DJI/DSM/task/...
My file is very light (only 200Ko)

If DJI don't want to answer me, has anyone been able to solve this problem ?
I tried everything ... I am offering a beer to the one who has the solution.

Sir i had no problem with your dsm. I have the same firmware as you: 02.02.0505(US)

i 've copied both files in a microSD card (e:\DJI\DSM\test\), then:
turn on rc, plug sd, after a second it appears import window, go to "DSM File" and choose your dsm

Ok, interesting ... So it doesnt come from the file.  I wanna smash my RC  Grrrrrrr.  I tried everything...
