Hello everybody, i'm about to buy a ronin S but i'm not sure if all i need is the focus wheel to control de focus on my Canon 800d/T7i o if i will need to get the focus motor for it.
The last update says you can use the [color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.85)]MCC-Mini cable to:
[color=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.85)]

Capture photo
Start/stop recording video
Pull focus electronically
Trigger auto focus

Does that mean I dont need the focus motor for controlling the focus on my camera but just the focus wheel?
Does any of ypu have the roin s and the canon 800d? what is ypur experience with it?

Hello there, Pull focus electronically is supportive when using EOS 800D on the Ronin-S. But when using the focus motor, you can achieve better focus results on your shooting.
