What is the best software to use to edit video for windows?

There isn't a single answer to your question, however, I would recomend Adobe Premiere Elements 13. It isn't too expensive yet it does a really great job.

I asked this question earlier and got one response.  Movavi seems to be the other easiest to use.  It's around $60.

Everything is conditional on the speed of your cpu, gbs ram, and gbs on the video card as far as how fast you can edit.  Historically Apple was the choice for photo and video editing.  I'm pc Windows 7 pro.


I've been using Adobe Premiere, which is really a great program, but has quite a learning curve, at least for me.  

One thing I do is shoot the video in shorter bursts.  This eliminates manipulating 3 gb video files, which can sometimes crawl  on my computer.

When i was on Windows (now on Mac) i used Movie Edit Pro from Magix. - http://www.magix.com/ca/movie-edit-pro/

I use the GoPro app. Got all I need, including horizon fixing if needed. Further it is free.

I'm using cyber link power director 13 ultimate I think it's called,  not expensive and work amazingly

I have been using Sony vegas even prior to getting the p3p. works great & easy to learn. also it accepts the 4k

I wish I could find the one I had years ago.
You opened a video with it, it showed every frame, you could delete each frame, add frames/another movie etc. It syn'ed the audio and everything. Was real easy.
Every one I have tried seems to have a big learning curve now. I don't want filters, etc. I just want to cut parts out or add some parts. Nothing fancy.

I use Adobre Premiere, is expensive and is a "pro" software but I never complained.
