Having read about the prop damage which can be done to the original Mini by the carrying bag, I find that the prop retaining strap on the M2 presses on the front props.  This may reduce the risk of damage whilst carrying in the bag, but, over time, will this tension not cause exactly the problem of prop damage the strap is designed to avoid?

In attached photo the props do not move freely under the strap, they are pressed down on the body of drone.

Never thought about that, but are there different kind of propellors? I have on MM2 K3 and B2 on the front. On the photo I see K2 and C8.

Not sure if these props are correct.  But its the ones which were installed when M2 arrived from DJI.  Props appear perfect.  Flies great.  But I'm concerned about prop damage over time from pressure by retaining strap

The strap seems spacious enough, I don't  worry. By the way the strap has the same serial number as the aircraft, so it should be designed for it.

I have the Mini 2 and my props (original) are (looking from rear) :- Front left, C3. Front right, B1. Rear left L4 and Rear right L1 so I reckon whatever is to hand when they are being manufactured and fitted.

Time will tell if that strap helps or not. Right now I checked my M2 and it appears they help hold the props in the correct position and not under pressure.

Hello there agd1949. Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your valued insights with regards to this matter. Rest assured that the DJI Mini 2 propeller holder / strap was tested multiple time to make sure that it will work properly with the DJI Mini 2 without compromising or damaging the said DJI Drone. Thank you and keep on flying.

I have a mix of k2, k1 & c2, I imagined the designation refers to the injection moulding tool
