As of the time being, the v1.2.0 and above version of the DJI Fly is not yet compatible with the DJI Smart Controller but this has been forwarded already to our engineers and will be resolved soon. It is suggested to use the v1.1.6 version of the DJI Fly for the DJI Smart Controller for now. Regarding your signal concern, please check whether your DJI Smart Controller is already updated to v01.00.0820. If not, you can have it updated using the DJI Assistant 2. You may also have the firmware refresh.
