Hello all, today I flew my MM2 for the 1st time, just a small test flight after all the updates and calibrations.

I noticed that it wasn’t hovering properly like my MM1. It was slowly drifting left (no wind at all)

Anything I can do to fix this? Satellite started with 9 and moved to 12 after takeoff.

Thanks
HH

I only did compass calibration, not an IMU, it didn’t ask me to do it. I’m not sure what’s IMU. Can’t that be a reason for mid-air slow drifting ?

Was the camera pointed down completely?

Hi

I think you should calibrate the IMU. It usually fixes the issue of drifting.

I am curious, can drifting be caused by a controller that needs calibration?  The stick centers might be off.

Hello there HH. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Kindly please try to calibrate the IMU of your DJI Mini 2 and the remote controller of the said DJI Drone as well to see if the issue will still persist. Thank you.

Excuse me, can you help?
I am having the same problem with my MM2.
It is drifting upwards, downwards, and a little left.
What exactly did you do?
Did you point the camera completely downwards for IMU calibration?
Thank you for the support.

It is probably just the wind moving it about a bit. You CAN'T expect the thing to stay 100% still and motionless in the air! People need to stop being SO paranoid and imaging there are issues when there really are not!

all I did was Calibrating the the IMU, and went to an open field to make sure I had the max number of GPS Satellites connected. after that I didn't find any issues. my drifting was  from my Balcony, and I think I didn't have enough Sats connected.

Ah, now I think I am understanding the problem.
My MM2 is being flown from inside an apartment to the outdoors and positioned at a point in which acquires the new home point.
Only after the update of the home point I start to fly in the open spaces. However, it gives me the same problem outside.
I will try to do more tests today.
Thank you!
