Hi there. I am currently looking for the best ways and settings to upscale MM video from 2.7k to 4k. For now, I achieved best result using these steps:

• Noise reduction using NeatVideo with SpectrumGrades MM noise profile
• Upscaling previously denoised video using Topaz Video Enhance AI with Artemis HQ profile

I am interested to learn if anyone was able to produce a decent upscaled MM video and what settings were used to do it.

Hi, thanks for the info. I use Handbrake to encode video if I need to reduce its size, but upscaling just with Handbrake doesn't produce as good result as upscaling with Topaz AI. Sure, Handbrake can get you 4k resolution, but AI adds some "detail" to it. Of course, it is not as good as a native 4k footage, but it's something.

If you have Topaz AI then definitly use that.

Indeed topaz video AI offers very good results, but beware you need a very efficient computer (personally I have an i7 with 32 giga of Ram and a 12 giga graphics card) and the processing of the videos is very very long but it there are good results if you choose this option does not take the version 1.70 which presents a big problem

I am using latest version, 1.7.1 I think. What is wrong with version 1.7?

version 1.7.1 works quite well compared to 1.7.0 Sometimes during encoding the screen turns black and the pc remains blocked until the end of the process and if you are lucky it worked but often not , or else all goes well during the treatment but it did nothing to the video while it lasts a long time to see the result, frustrating !!!

How about other AI video upscaler? Can compare Topaz Video Enhance AI and AVCLabs Video Enhancer AI?
