I try to update my Phamtom 3 Advance but I try so many times. it's not working, still fail. I checked P3S_FW_RESULT_AB.txt file. Result is: failed.  I re-format my sdcard on my drone and put it on root directory with .bin file. My phantom current firmware version is 1.1.5 which read on DJI pilot app. When it start upgrading only hear "D-D", and then started beeping "DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD".
Delete history success.

Result: Failed.
Reboot the aircraft and try to upgrade the firmware again.

I have the same problems as you. Are you using a MAC computer for copying the bin file to the SD Card? Because I suspect that this could be the cause of the error.

Like me…Today I go to the support center. I hope they will be able to upgrade the firmware…

After more than three weeks waiting the only solution is to return the darn thing for exchange  and then ignore the upgrade message in the pilot app. DJI's customer service is a cruel joke...!  They have yet to even put out a redo of the  working  versions.. UPS turn around is  way more certain than the when of an update..  If the dealers get enough of these back then that might get thru to DJI.. If your sd card connector is iffy new firmware may never work.. My replacement is due Thursday and  forget the update.. Very upsetting and disgusting.
