A client has tried all other drones, M2P, Phantom 4 Pro and nothing comes out as they intend.  I used a 48mm to test and they like the images very much and the fascade orthomosaic lines up perfectly too.  M2Z is an underrated inspection drone.  The M2E with 3x is still only 2x at Optical so pretty much they are the same exact drone.

I love my M2Zoom. Used it once to inspect pointing and chimney flashing of daughter's roof three storeys up. Clear as a bell, even from 20 metres away.

The zoom is a great drone!
Too heavy for me, but otherwise I would get it!

The M2Z is lighter than the P4PV2.0 and the M2P

Still too heavy for EU laws!

Yeah, the 48mm even at 1/50 at ISO-100 while moving a bit did a great job at keeping the image sharp! (photography) Please ensure this doesn't change for the worst in future updates and updates remain the same level of quality or better.

Yep... I got one for my birthday and was flying around the house looking around a stuff. Noticed a crack in the crown of the chimney. Zoomed in and man it was a big crack, wouldn't be good through another winter without potentially causing more issues down the road.

$5400 and a newly poured chimey crown, ugh. Most of the cost was in the massive amount of scaffolding that was required to get to the top.

I'd say if you are an inspector, the zoom capability is almost a must have unless you turn off obstacle avoidance and like to take some risks.

The other inspector I work with at times only wants the Phantom 4, doesn't even want to look at the Mavic 2 Zoom.  I've tested them all but as usual, people won't even have a look and think they know better.

I've seen other chimneys too or at least one I could remember and it had a crack.  I wonder if they all have a crack.  What happens if you leave the crown how it is and don't repair it?

It shouldn't be.  No idea how DJI is able to keep the image basically 100% stable at 48mm close-up while it's moving.  As a long range photography drone at 24mm.. the P4PV2.0 and M2P beats it.  It has a lot of noise when taking images from far away but very close, nothing beats it!
