Hi,

I have installed the last dji fly 1.2.2 app on IOS and on the bottom of the screen, the radar is not showed anymore.
What appenned ? They realized it was not efficient so they removed it ?

Interesting, I will not have the opportunity to fly my Mavic Air 2 today more than likely.  But the radar is one of my most used features.  

The position of your drone together with the homepoint is now visiible on the map!

Does the map still work?

Yes the map works.
You can toggle the map back and forth from map to radar/yaw/roll indicator by pressing the corner of the map screen

It is a new visual of information you had before. With additional roll indicator fused in the radar

OK, thank You. I'm Android user so I have to wait to see how it looks. I was using in map indicator anyway so I won't be missing the old on screen indicator.

- Adds a new Attitude Indicator: Learn more about your aircraft’s orientation and flight info.
- Adds Flight Tips: View interesting aerial photography tips during scenarios such as firmware updates, taking hyperlapse shots, and when the aircraft is returning to home.
- Adds the following supported functions for the Customizable Button on remote controller: Gimbal Follow/FPV, Camera Settings, and Exposure Lock/Unlock.

Does the map he show the flight path from the home point to the drone. I'm used to the spark and phantom series. Its very useful when  loosing orientation of the ac when flying manually.

I made a test flight earlier (Android Flyapp 1.2.2), the line from the drone to the home point is still there (in the map view). The compass also enables the drone to be aligned towards the home point.

I found the attitude indicator to be very helpful for flying in wind.  It slants when the drone is fighting the wind or hovering.  This helps to determine the direction of the wind and strength.  I think this will be useful when flying in windy conditions where the terrain cause wind to change directs and also for making mental calculations on the winds affect on the battery.

Hope this animated + real time video can help to visualize and understand it better.
