Hello there, currently we have not tested the compatibility of the Panasonic G7 on the Ronin-S. As we are receiving numerous camera configuration requests, it is not possible for us to test all setup combinations with Ronin-S. It is recommended to take your camera plus lens and other accessories to the nearest DJI retail stores for tesing.

Thank you.

Hello!
Yes, you can use a DJI Ronin S to control your Lumix G7 camera with the help of a control cable. Specifically, you'll need a USB-C to 2.5mm jacket cable. Once you have that, you're free to command various camera settings remotely, including aperture, shutter speed, and focus. Just keep in mind that the compatibility of your Ronin S and Lumix G7 camera will depend on some specifics - for example, it's a great idea to test for compatibility and do a run-through of settings before embarking on a project.

I also think it's important to mention this as an additional tip.

Use a lens with image stabilization:

When using the Ronin S with your Lumix G7 is to use a lens with image stabilization. This can reduce camera shake, which is very important during filming (and you know it). One good example of a lens is the Lumix G7 lens kit because it has built-in optical image stabilization.
