I see reference to DNG files being available to construct panoramas.  My mini 2 just produces jpegs when I shoot a pano.  Is that right or have I set something incorrectly?  I would love to get DNGs for my pano construction.  Are they just for higher end DJI drones?

Thanks

Switch pictures to Jpg + Raw, that should help.

Total misconception. DJI app will autogenerate panoramic stitch in JPEG format only. In fact every stitching software will deliver JPEG stitch in most cases, some more advanced may offer TIFF or Photoshop native formats. Shooting option JPEG+DNG will save RAW sequence in a separate folder for further manipulation in external computer software, if you dare to create your own stitch ...

Are you talking about the single files, or the rendered output?

The DNG sequence shows up nowhere on my SD card.  What folder should it be in?

You must request to record panoramic sequence in RAW also. By default the app will record JPEGs only.

You need to be already in panorama mode before selecting raw files.
but at the moment it is pointless as there is a problem with the panorama dng files showing a discoloured part of the frame.  and they dont actually stitch into a proper panorama either in lightroom, no matter what projection mode is used ,  almost a short rectangle .  file exif must be all wrong at present in the pano mode shooting !

shoot the panorama manually (not in pano mode) and stitch the raw files   works great
