Man I love my Inspire 1 but they really just don't deliver when shooting foliage, eh? 60Mbps just isn't enough at 4k to keep detail in those leaves.

Wishing DJI would update this. CinemaDNG would make me very, very happy.

Vimeo/YouTube can eat the detail as well.   I've had some original Inspire footage that was very detailed and amazing but no matter what I did would still get a bit munched when uploaded.

I'm a complete novice so bear with me.  How do you get smooth trajectory transitions on the Inspire?  When I turn, go up/down it's not smooth. Do I need to adjust the gains?

Hi Outlander.

Sometimes it's difficult to avoid bumps and things while flying.   If it's a specific move that you can do again and again, then the best advice is to keep trying it until you get it perfect.

But sometimes it's a one off, and in these cases you should try to cut around them in editing.

Just start the edit later or cut out early.

I understand, practice...practice...practice. Fortunately practicing flying the Inspire is fun!  I just wish Calculus was as much fun when I was in school.
