Hi  today  i connected a sony a7s3 to the rs2; with the usbc to sony control cable, i was remotely able to start the camera; but the other functions like iso, focus do not work; when  in  focus mode, the camera states remote focus is not possible with this the rs2 focus wheel. its a new sony e mount lens, 20 and 55, 1.8
according to a  list  i  found, these  lenses  do support this functions.  so what  happens here?

do you have switch the front whell to focus mode?
