I had this. no idea what it meant.  I just hit confirm.  The application can only be used to download logs anyway for the Mini 2.  So not super helpful...

Estoy en el mismo problema que vos... tengo un DJI MINI 2, hace 2 semanas actualicé firmware, aparentemente quedó trunco. Ahora no conecta el Remote Controller con el Drone.
Ya intenté todo lo posible, y no hay caso... errores por todos lados.

This is a known issue with the Assistant for the Mavic Mini 2. You can only use it to manage the controller. Not the Drone.

Al parecer, la última version de DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drones Series) no permite modificar nada relativo al firmware del DJI Mini 2. Solo puedes recuperar los flight logs. Para mí, es algo que deberían corregir en el futuro.

English: it seems that the last version of DJI Assistant 2 (Consumer Drone Series) doesn't allow to update nor refresh DJI Mini 2 firmware (see release notes of the program). Only flight logs can be recovered. I really think this should be addressed to be able at least to downgrade the firmware in case of issues with a new firmware.
