As a newbie to the Mavic Air 2 and the DJI Fly app (in Android), I have many, probably common, questions that aren't answered in the Mavic Air 2 User Manual (and there doesn't seem to be a manual for the app itself?!).  Many such questions arise because of my having to fly the Mavic where I don't have Internet access (no Wi-Fi or cell service).  For example:

How do you download maps in advance at home for use at a remote location in the field (no Internet or cell service at remote location)?
How do you unlock a zone at home for flight at a remote location in the field (no Internet or cell service at remote location)?
How do you learn to operate all the features of the DJI Fly app (e.g., using the map function with the drone's remote GPS location)?
What do the remote controller key and app button for landing and takeoff do when there's no GPS location available so RTH has no meaning (as indoors)?  If they do nothing, then are manual takeoff and landing the only available option?
Etc., etc., etc...

I suppose there must be a library of instructions somewhere that addresses these kinds of problems.  Could somebody please point me to it? -- jclarkw

djiuser_CXKVapu -- Not sure why nobody else has chimed in here, but FYI I have found answers to at least the following questions:

1) How do you download maps in advance at home for use at a remote location in the field (no Internet or cell service at remote location)? -- "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2n-YI2mui8&feature=youtu.be" does a good job answering this question.  The bit that took me a long time to get is that (apparently) DJI Fly app has a build-in cache that stores this information offline.

2) How do you unlock a zone at home for flight at a remote location in the field (no Internet or cell service at remote location)? -- "https://dbpilots.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360021580532-Troubleshooting-DJI-Geofence-Unlocks-GEO-2-0-" addresses this concern, though I haven't tried its suggestions yet.

3) How do you learn to operate all the features of the DJI Fly app (e.g., using the map function with the drone's remote GPS location)? -- There is an HTML user guide at "https://store.dji.com/guides/dji-fly-app-complete-user-guide/?pbc=mF6h4ZTt" that answers many, but not all, questions about the app.  It is possible to get a usable paper copy of this with the Print command in Google Chrome.

4) What do the remote controller key and app button for landing and takeoff do when there's no GPS location available so RTH has no meaning (as indoors)?  If they do nothing, then are manual takeoff and landing the only available option? -- The answer I finally got out of DJI email tech support (after many tries) is that these buttons do NOTHING without GPS.  (I haven't tried this myself, as I've now removed the aluminum-foil GPS shield I had to use to fly indoors.)  Manual takeoff and landing can be easily accomplished with the throttle stick on the remote.)
