The new EASA rules have pushed most models out to open countryside for flying, but at the same time, the new rules actually make it far easier to fly in more places if you know how to make them work for you.
In the UK you needed a £1,000 PfCO to get flying inside towns and cities; not any more. If you have a Mini or Mini 2, you have amazing freedoms now, but even if you own a larger drone it's still easier to fly inside towns and cities now than it was before:

Is DJI Class 1 approved? Because if is not, you are not allowed in A1/A3, you go to A2 and need proper exam.
Current Mini and Mini 2 are 'unclassified legacy drones'. Under UK rules, they are allowed to fly in towns and cities including right over uninvolved people. So this is a significant new freedom to fly.
Yes. Amazing that we'll then be able to by a Mavic Air 2, classified C1, meaning we can fly in towns and cities up to but not over uninvolved people..... But the same aircraft missing that sticker is relegated to open countryside...

Just goes to prove how ridiculous the new rules are. They could have made things much simpler by using a metric that can be applied to existing products.
Hi Ian, can I thank you for your video, particularly regarding article 16, I was not aware of it. I've been in touch with my association and I'm good to go.
I fly mostly on family and friends farm land but now with article 16 it has opened up more places for me to fly my Mavic Pro. Just need relevant paperwork with me just in case.
Cheers.
Keep safe

Article 16 is a huge benefit that the flying clubs should be pushing more I think..... CHeers, Ian
