Hi,
today is arrived the tablet holder for the Mini 2 remote, so
i've tried some flights using my Samsung Galaxy Tab 5Se.

Using my smartphone (Mi 10T Pro) i had the aircraft orientation tool on the bottom
center of the app screen, using the tablet i had only a red flashing X icon
and NO RADAR in the app while i'm flying.
Note that GPS is ok (about 20 satellites) and Position is active
on my tablet. Mini 2 is normally in flight and i can use it as usual,
but i have no orientation tool active in the app.


Do you know the reason of this issue ?

Middle direction arrow gone? They have put a new one with the map, if you look at the map on the bottom right there's an icon click on that and the actuator is there?

This shows home, direction, inputs and wind ??

Yes, the middle gray arrow that shows the drone direction ...
instead of this indicator i had a red cross blinking....

Are you on the latest APP?  you have to download from DJI not on google play for android yet?

No, i have the v.1.2.1 ,
from the Google Play Store..
I've read in some sites that this issue
can be caused by the wrong compass calibration
of the tablet.
Tomorrow i'll retry first recalibrating the tablet compass..

Hello there gfab71. I am sorry for the trouble this has caused and thank you for reaching out. Kindly please try to calibrate the compass of the said mobile device for us to be able to isolate the said issue. If the issue persist kindly please try using a different mobile device to see if the issue will still show. Thank you and fly safe always.

Most Tablets have no GPS  chip and Magnetic Field Sensors (i.e. compass), neither Galaxy Tab 5 nor ipad

orientation tool needs informations of GPS and compass
