A Mavic 3 with less than 250g would be a best seller in view of all the recent drone law changes.  It will be interesting to see what DJI comes up with.

With the sensors etc I highly doubt the M3 will be very light but then again Dji has been known to pull some surprises

It just needs some software extras to make it at least close to MA2.
So they can do it.

With the new EU classification its going to need to be way lighter than 250g's.  the rule changes to mtom rather than weight with the classification.  to even the mini 2 would be under 250g mtom.

I don't think that is the case.
The Mini 2 is in fact as good as the MP2 when it comes to the flying part.
It might be a challenge getting a better camera system on that small drone, but other than that it is just software.

I hope the next Pro will be <250g

As long as it is under 900 gr with a C1 certification it is ok
