This is how I FPV with my MA2. I use the HDMI out on my smart controller into my DJI goggles. I have the goggles already for using with my MP2 via Ocusync, and they have an HDMI in.
It works ok, but it's not nearly as good as wirelessly with Ocusync on the MP2. The video out on the SC is kind of choppy, given that it's just coming off the SC's internal Android device. And it does add more latency to the existing latency that's already around 150ms. But, it's not really that bad most of the time and the quality of the video is very good - full 1080p30fps.
It's a viable solution if you have the Smart Controller and any goggles that have an HDMI in.
But it's no comparison to the DJI goggles connected to the MP2 via Ocusync, which is smooth as glass.... |
