Hello guys,

I have bought an air 2 about 2.5 months ago, I have noticed after a few days that there is more space between one back leg and the body, than the other one, since that space got bigger, it has now about 2 or 3 mm space between the mounting of the leg and the body - I will attach here the photos

Note: I managed to write to Dji via Dji Fly app, contact support page, described my issue and added photos, it passeed about a month, no reply

What should I do?

Is there anyone having such an issue with their quad legs. To me, it seems that right back leg somehow it was not tighten enough, as I have this feeling that it gets bigger with every folding and unfolding

Please help a newbie

P.S. no crushes so far, so I cant see why this is happening to my newly drone

You could try a warrantee claim.  Or you could go rogue and loosen the set screw and push the leg further down then tighten it.

There's a screw on the top and one on the bottom, you need a #5 torx driver.  Just for the heck of it, I decided to take both screws out of mine and slide it out slightly like yours.
Not sure exactly why yours has moved like it has, but I would definitely try taking both screws out, push it in and reinstall the screws.

I thought the same, to save waiting time, headache, I might just do it myself nice and easy, but, i might loose the warranty this way, right?

Plus, I am not sure if is due to the crews from the leg/ outside, or I need to tear all the inside out, and fix the leg from where is connected inside?

Unless the screws have a glue in them they'll never know.

If there is a "glue" it is threadlocker, and it can be removed by heating it calmly, without damaging the plastic.

Thank you to all of you that took the time to write an opinion. I will have someone that works with drone repairs look at it. For my next drone, I will surely take the Dji Care refresh
