My done was blown outter range and the drone kept flying i have no idea where it has landed it isnt where my dji app say it is. as i can posted in my local facebook page and people have said they saw it flying way thurther away than the app was saying it should have been.

can DJI track the device from the S/N number OR issus a new device on refresh care?

DJI can't track the S/N for the customer (you need to file a Police report and still probably they would disregard any request that isn't authority) Your app recorded just the last known location.

Some in this forum can calculate the projection of the remaining flight time according to actual conditions. If you provide the .txt log file for the event then this data set may be calculated.

But after 9 seconds an autolanding, landing started at 1.3m meters height?  uh ?

It was my first flight after an update recon there could have been a problem with the software? As it didn't come down after disconnecting

I suspect there might have been compass interference (from powering up the drone in a distorted magnetic field)... MM doesn't fly by itself. Considering you didn't wait for a satellite lock I think you should go back to basics.

MM can even land on signal loss but that option MUST be set before it is useful. Sad to lose a drone that way.

You have updated your app to 1.2.2 or later so Phantomhelp cannot read the flight data.
Can you post the .txt file that you uploaded to Phantomhelp?

Sorry to hear of your loss.  I hope you are able to track it down.  Unless you've signed up for the new fly away program with DJI Care Refresh, they aren't going to be able to help you.  For the regular Care program, they don't cover fly aways.  You have to be able to send the carcass back to them.  Hopefully you signed up for the new Fly Away Care Refresh program DJI just announced a few weeks ago.

In the future, I'd recommend a couple of things.

Firstly, always make sure you have a good GPS signal locked in with an established home point at its current location before even thinking about launching.  Without a locked in GPS location, your risk of a bad outcome exponentially increases.

Secondly, the Mavic Mini is notoriously bad in the wind.  I'm always super cautious about the wind conditions before even thinking about sending up my original Mavic Mini.

Combine a lack of GPS signal and high wind and its a recipe for a bad outcome.

I hope you have a good result in either finding it or getting DJI to replace it for you.  Either way, I hope you are back up and flying again soon and are able to use this one as a learning experience to help prevent future issues.

Cheers!

You can just download it from the PhantomHelp page he already posted.
See if you can.I've tried 3 times and get a blank Phantomhelp page each time.
That's because he's updated his Fly app to 1.2.4

That's why I want to see the .txt file.

Unless you've changed the Loss of Signal action from the default (almost no-one ever does) it will have tried.
But if the wind is too strong for the drone, it isn't going to be able to.
Just like you couldn't swim back home (upstream agains a powerful river current.

The data also shows messages about being in Payload mode.
Did you have propguards fitted?
If you did that's a bad mistake in windy conditions.
They act like sails.

Your flight data shows no compass or GPS problems.
But it does show the drone being blown backwards when you were trying to fly forwards.
The drone lost signal 230 feet to the west-northwest at a height of 67 ft.
Find my drone is only going to show the last point where the app had contact with the drone.
But as the drone was flying/being blown away at the time, that's no use to you.

It was being blown backwards at around 9 mph with a nearly full battery.
Since the drone was going backwards at 3+ mph when you pushed the right stick forward, it will have continued being blown further away when it initiated RTH.
At the rate it was burning battery, it would have continued for about 20 minutes before reaching critical low voltage and autolanding (if it didn't run into any obstacles before then).
That would put it perhaps 1.25 miles to the NNW .. somewhere on the other side of the Shoreham Bypass.
But your RTH height should have kept it above any obstacles in the direction it was travelling.
The bad news it that the wind will possibly have been even stronger up there.

Mayby you uploaded the wrong flight ?  As said, this log shows an autolanding after few seconds.
Indeed, i checked your log for this flight.
As said by others, drifing on wind, probably faster as in RTH your craft was flying at 49 meters, while when connected it was flying at 20m.
With 93% drifing for some time...just for reference, see my chart ; this is how far ( calculated, drift speed, batt usage ect ) it drifted away from HP. Not an exact landing position , too many values to be 'guessed'.
Sorry for your loss.

cheers
