Received the GPS module and adtapter for the RS2. Does it require a new firmware to use it? If so, when will this be available?

Asked the same question as well a bit below, can’t understand why the support guys just do not answer it straight away. Should be a no brainer for them. By now the gps just do nothing connected to the RS2.
