How to update firmware u must have all 3 components active while u upgrading firmware with dji fly app ? or first googles controller and drone put into usb c and update one by one ??

Here's what worked for me:
1) Charged batteries and installed batteries in goggles, remote and and drone
3) Ran latest DJI Fly on phone
3) Connected goggles to phone and powered-on goggles, remote and drone
4) DJI Fly activated goggles, remote and drone
5) DJI Fly detected new firmware available for goggles, remote and drone and updated the firmware on all three (took about 30 minutes)

Finally figured it out you have to go to DJI and download the app on their website not Google play for android.  Install the application and you will be able to activate it.
